Alicia Carrillo, LMSW

 

Alicia obtained her Bachelor’s Degree (2014) and Master’s Degree (2022) from Idaho State University. For the past eight years, Alicia has specialized in addressing concerns with individuals and families impacted by substance abuse, mental health, and/or trauma. She enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds and views those she works with as the experts in their own lives who at times need additional support. Alicia primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (and Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She believes that healing comes from within and focuses on client-centered and trauma-focused approaches to empower one towards personal growth.
