Elizabeth Torbenson, LPC

 

Liz graduated with her Masters degree in Counseling from Lakeland University in 2016. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho with over 5 years of professional work experience. She has experience helping clients with depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, and working on addictive behaviors, such as eating disorders. Liz’s focus as a counselor is to help clients develop self-confidence and become more psychologically flexible in order to help them identify their individual strengths, desires, and needs. Liz uses techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy while utilizing the Mindful Self-Compassion workbook to compliment therapy. 
 
In her spare time, Liz loves spending time with her family, watching and playing sports, relaxing, and exploring the beautiful state of Idaho. She is also a true crime fanatic, Caitlin Clark fan, and loves the Green Bay Packers..
